الن داندس (به انگلیسی: Alan Dundes) (متولد ۸ سپتامبر ۱۹۳۴، درگذشت ۳۰ مارس ۲۰۰۵)، فولکلورشناس دانشگاه کالیفرنیا، برکلی بود. او ۱۲ کتاب، هم دانشگاهی و هم عوام پسند نوشت و چندده کتاب را ویرایستاری کرد یا در نوشتن آنها مشارکت جست.
